The iRobot Roomba 980 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
Robot vacuums nab pet hair, lint, and dust from floors before it can settle. vacuum mop combo can also stay clear of obstacles like furniture that is slippery and staircases.
The majority of robotic vacuums require maintenance, such as emptying (and occasionally rinsing) the bin, and wiping sensors and cameras. They also require to be connected. A lot of them have apps for smartphones for scheduling, adjusting setting and more.

Roomba 960 from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba 980 is the latest in the series of top-of-the-line robot vacuum cleaners that are an essential part in any modern home. This model comes with a HEPA-filter that will help those who are allergic. Additionally, it also has a strong battery that can clean for up to two hours, and it will return to its dock when its bin is full.
Smart mapping is a different feature that allows it to identify areas of your home that require attention and creates a path for cleaning around them. This technology is extremely effective in navigating around toys that have been left on the floor or furniture legs sticking out from under things. It also has a camera sensor that snaps the Roomba back to reality when it starts to drift from its actual location.
iRobot has also introduced a new set of rollers under the Roomba's bottom, which do not have bristles, and thus tend to be more resistant to tangles than previous models. These rollers are also taller and can fit under beds or couches with low sides. They're specifically designed to make this model more movable on various flooring types.
What makes the Roomba 980 stand out from other models with a higher-end price tag, though, is its incorporation of the latest dirt detection feature that uses cameras to identify tiny bits of dirt. This is an improvement over the previous version which relied on a sensor-driven pseudorandom cover method to bounce around the room and clean the entire area three times at various angles.
The Roomba 980 performed well in our tests on both carpets and hard floors. It scored very well on low-pile carpet and also on mid-pile. It did a decent job of picking up pet hair, but it had a difficult time with very long and thick pet fur that was clumped together.
Despite these small shortcomings, the Roomba 980 remains one of our most efficient robots, and it's even close to being as expensive as some of the other top-of-the-line models in this list. It still has a lot of features that we'd expect to see in a top-of-the-line model however it lacks all the fancy app-enabled functions or smart home integration you'll find in other top models.
The iRobot Roomba can be set up in a matter of minutes and is ready for use immediately. After taking off the battery pull tab and yellow bin insert from undercarriage, all you have to connect it to its Home Base docking station or an outlet on the wall, press its big "Clean" button and let it go to work. It will return to its dock when it has run out of battery or becomes full of sand. There are also indicator lights at the top of the bin that let you know the bin is empty, or when it needs to recharge, or when it loses Wi-Fi.
